Discover our range of replacement filters for your Nibe ventilation unit, all made in the EU! Our selection includes high-performance filter sets available in G4 (ISO Coarse 80%) and F7 (ISO ePM1 70%), designed to protect your system and improve indoor air quality. All our options are quality-tested and fully compatible with Nibe MVHR units.

Model compatibility

This category includes filter sets compatible with all major Nibe MVHR ventilation units, including:

  • ERS series

To ensure the right fit, it’s important to know the exact model of your ventilation unit, as different models require different filters. You’ll find helpful tips on identifying your device in the FAQ section.

Filter types and what they protect against

Our replacement filter sets for Nibe units are designed to ensure optimal air quality and system performance by combining two filters with different filtration roles. Each set includes:

  • G4 filters (ISO Coarse 80%) on the extract side: ideal for capturing larger particles like soil particles, large pollen grains, plant debris, insect wings, sawdust, sand and textile lint.
  • F7 filters (ISO ePM1 70%) on the supply side: high-efficiency filters that capture very fine particles, including bacteria, smog, tobacco smoke particles, combustion dust, spores, and wildfire smoke particles.

Usage and maintenance

To keep your MVHR system running efficiently and your indoor air clean, we recommend replacing the filters every 3–6 months. However, this depends on your environment, if you have pets, or nearby construction.

To make the process easy, we provide step-by-step replacement instructions for each filter model. You can find them under the “How to change” tab on every product page.

Manufacturing quality you can trust

Our carefully developed house brand filters are made in the European Union by certified manufacturers. They are produced with high-quality materials, under strict ISO 16890 standards to ensure high filtration performance and reliability.

What filter class do NIBE ERS units use?

Plus icon Close icon

The NIBE ERS 20-250 filter set we stock pairs two classes:

  • G4 coarse filter
  • F7 (ePM1) fine filter

The G4 filter keeps coarse dust off the heat exchanger, while the F7 filter cleans the incoming air of fine dust and pollen.

I have a NIBE heat pump — does that mean I also have a NIBE ventilation unit?

Plus icon Close icon

Not necessarily. NIBE is primarily known for heat pumps, but its ERS series ventilation units are often installed alongside NIBE heating systems in the same property, sharing the same brand but functioning independently. Check the ventilation unit itself, not the heat pump nameplate, to identify the correct filter model.

Does filter condition affect my NIBE system’s heating efficiency?

Plus icon Close icon

Yes — in integrated NIBE systems, ventilation air quality and heat recovery efficiency work alongside the heat pump to manage indoor climate and energy use. A clogged ventilation filter can force the system to work harder to maintain target temperatures, so regular filter changes support both air quality and heating costs.

Can I buy NIBE ERS extract and supply filters together as a matched pair, or do they need separate ordering?

Plus icon Close icon

They come together. We sell the NIBE ERS 20-250 filters as a matched G4+F7 set, since both filters are normally replaced at the same time — it saves ordering, and paying for delivery, twice.

How quickly can you deliver NIBE ERS filters within Austria?

Plus icon Close icon

In-stock NIBE ERS filters are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours and typically arrive in about 3 to 4 business days anywhere in Austria, with free delivery from €100. Since NIBE ERS units are often installed alongside a NIBE heat pump, keeping a spare set on hand avoids any disruption to either system while waiting for a replacement to arrive.

Our NIBE ERS is in a holiday apartment used only part of the year — how should we handle filters?

Plus icon Close icon

Work to the season rather than the calendar. Fit fresh filters when you open the apartment for the season, and deal with them again before you close it up: if the unit has been running on a low setting through a damp autumn, the filters have absorbed moisture and are better replaced than left in place over a long standstill, where they can develop a musty smell that the first guests will notice. If the unit is switched off entirely for months, taking the old filters out before the standstill and fitting new ones at the restart is the cleanest approach. Store spare sets indoors in a dry, heated room — not in an unheated ski cellar or garage.
