What are MVHR filters, and why are they important?
MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) systems work by continuously extracting stale, humid, or polluted air from indoor spaces and supplying fresh, filtered air from outside. As this exchange happens, a built-in heat exchanger recovers heat from the outgoing air and transfers it to the incoming air – without the two airflows ever mixing. This process improves indoor air quality while also cutting down on energy loss and heating costs.
Types of filters in our offer
We stock both original filters and high-quality house brand alternatives – both made in the EU with high-quality materials, under strict ISO 16890 standards to ensure high filtration performance and reliability.
Available filter options in our offer are:
- G4 and G3 filters on the extract or supply side: ideal for capturing larger particles like soil particles, large pollen grains, plant debris, insect wings, sawdust, sand and textile lint.
- M5 filters on the extract or supply side: ideal for capturing larger particles like pollen, mould spores, pet dander, and house dust.
- M6 and F7 filters on the supply side: high-efficiency filters that capture very fine particles, including pollen, pet dander, bacteria, smog, tobacco smoke particles, combustion dust, spores, and wildfire smoke particles.
